To this end, although some software written for sale or microprocessors may not fit into this area of IT, other software and systems used by marketing and small businesses may very well. Regardless, whether one is working for a company, using a product provided by the company, or is an employee of an IT services team, most likely one is going to see a number of opportunities of interest within the field.
